At Schmucker Lumber and Metal, we realize your buildings require individual and unique attention. We are the only company around that keeps everything local. We manufacture the metal on site and carry all of the lumber. We listen to your needs first, and then design a building based on your specifications. We have a computer program to give you a detailed design and layout of your building. We can build any size garage/workshop from single car garages to buildings large enough to store your large motor home or semi-truck. If you feel handy there is no problem building your own to save some money or can refer to some local contractors to put it up for you. There is no project too big or small and everything is done with the highest grade of lumber, metal, and accessories. We take pride in your building as if it was our own building.
About Our Buildings
Whether your needs are for Agricultural Buildings; Commercial Buildings; Garages; Workshops; Metal Homes; Horse Barns. You name it we can design it. We design Pole Buildings, Stud Frame building, and Metal Frame building using only products we would use on our own. All of our treated lumber is #1 grade, our construction grade lumber is HI-Line, keep #1 Yellow pine for wider lumber. We us only the thickest metal to manufacture our buildings in both 29 Ga (.015) and 26 ga (.019) steel. We do all of our trim out of steel unlike a lot of other companies that lighter materials. Pair our great trim with the ability to bend about anything with our endless selections of doors and openings. We order our garage doors direct the help keep the prices down. All you have to do is let us know what YOU want!
